Our Story

In 1997, our store was established on Main Avenue, Garretson South Dakota as HAFER HEALTH and GIFTS. The store became a location where Jessica, then 8, could learn the values of community interaction, socialization and business basics. The store became a home-away-from home during its formative years. Jeralyn Haffer used her artistic abilities to populate and decorate the store with unique and affordable gifts and healthy food alternatives. Jessica was the assistant buyer and top sales person, as well as the sunshine afforded to each customer, often comforting and encouraging in ways, far above her years.

In 2003, Jessica transcended this world and left her parents devasted and the store without its soul. The name was changed to RAINBOW DELIGHT, a name Jessica chose years before. The store has remained a storefront and on-line presence and Jessica's spirit is ever present to all who visit or shop online.
